When people find out that I am a both a romance author and a physicist, their eyebrows usually shoot way up. For some reason, we don’t think of arts mixing with science. The truth is that in order to be a scientist, you have to be very creative. And in every art, there is a piece of applied science.
Actress Mayim Bialik, who is also a neuroscience, talked about her dual interests on the TV show The Secret Lives of Scientists and Engineers. Her eloquent words are exactly how I feel about being a physicist and a romance author.
